Interactive kiosks are used by town halls and public entities to provide cultural and tourist information. Interactive multimedia kiosks, thanks to touch screens, allow the user to select the content which he wants to see.
This creates a vast field for its application in different areas. For example, its use in public information points allows the user to access a multitude of services: interactive maps, cultural and tourist information and even to carry out personal business on-line. Their use as a virtual kiosk allows them to show cycles of advertisements on a continuous basis. But this is not all. Their tactile nature opens up a whole new world of advertising possibilities which require a greater participation by the user through surveys, heightened reality (HR) and other types of creative applications still to be discovered. |
